Workgroups

AGRIECOL is divided into four working groups with several research areas within each. Each working group has a coordinator. The activity of the Network is under the leadership of the general coordinator.

Organic food

Working group on organic food.

This group is divided into the following areas:

  • 1) Processing of food of plant origin.
  • 2) Processing of food of animal origin.
  • 3) Organic food, quality, food safety and health.

Working group on organic livestock production systems.

This group is divided into the following areas:

  • 1) Animal health and welfare in organic livestock.
  • 2) Pasture, forage and feed.
  • 3) Genetic resources and plant and animal breeding.
  • 4) Management of organic livestock farming systems.
  • 5) Organic beekeeping.
  • 6) Organic aquaculture.

  • 5) Organic forestry.
